		<description>Tithing is a Mosaic Law commandment given only to ancient Israel.  Tithing never consisted of money, and it was never practiced among New Testament Christians because it was abolished.

It&#039;s poor financial stewardship when we neglect our household responsibilities.  There are a multitude of ways a person can support their church that does not include money.

The debt counselors were correct in their attempts to help people save their homes.  We must be wise in our actions.  Allowing one&#039;s home to enter foreclosure in the name of God is not wise, and it demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of biblical scriptures.
