Victory Baltic Thunder

Posted by ben On February - 25 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

This week the New Brew Crew is sampling Victory Brewing Company's Baltic Thunder Porter. In last week's blog post we said we were drinking Alskan Brewing Company's Baltic Porter for this week's episode. Unfortunately, the liquor store we got the beer from, who said it was in stock, was mistaken. Victory Brewing to the rescue! We're pairing Victory's Baltic Thunder with dark chocolate and cheesecake. Baltic Thunder is widely available, so feel free to drink along with us.

Beer Review #5 -Guinness Extra Stout

A great choice for your St. Patrick's Day. Guinness Extra Stout was reviewed by elharlock and he gave it a 5 out of 5. Personally, I would have to agree with him since I enjoy a pint or two of this flavorful brew. Enjoy the video review.

Beer Review #4 – Brooklynn Chocolate Stout

Posted by ben On December - 21 - 2009Comments Off
You need to know that this review was recorded after we finished our "Sex Xbox or Beer" skit. We had a few beers and probably should have saved this review for another night. But, does anyone really care?

This beer is from Brooklyn Brewery New York. It is worth noting that the ABV is a whopping 10.6% Potent!

The lady in this review seems to be a little on the tipsy side. Makes this video a fun one to watch.

Pros: Strong, extra- hopped ale

Cons: None, although some find find the taste overwhelming

The Bottom Line: Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale is a classic brew that sets your mouth on fire with the taste of hops
